A graduate of the College of William and Mary, Dr. Mauthe completed four years at
The Medical College of Virginia in Richmond and went on to complete his residency
in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Temple University Hospital. After
completion of his residency he became the director for the Department of Physical
Medicine and Rehabilitation at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

In 1998 he chose to go into private practice and currently has an office in Center
Valley, Pennsylvania, just south of Allentown off Route 309 and one mile south of
the Center Valley Parkway and the Promenade Shops.

Dr. Mauthe received his degree in Medicine in 1986 and is board certified in
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He is also
certified as an Independent Medical Examiner and certified in performing
Impairment Ratings in the state of Pennsylvania. In addition, he holds a license to
practice in the state of Arizona.

Dr. Mauthe specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of painful conditions
including, but not limited to, disorders of the spine and extremities, both physical
and post-surgical rehabilitation. He does not routinely prescribe narcotic
medications and the practice emphasizes exercise and a return to a productive
lifestyle, whether it be sports, work or leisure related activities.
